About Our Pricing
Why are these ranges rather than fixed prices?
Because access is what drives labor, and access varies enormously between vehicles. A starter on one car is forty minutes. On another the exhaust has to come loose first. We give you a firm number for your specific vehicle before we drive out.
Is there a call-out fee?
No, not anywhere in the Temecula Valley. If you are outside the area we will tell you on the phone whether there is a travel charge, before you commit to anything.
Does the diagnostic fee come off the repair?
Yes, if we do the repair. If you take the diagnosis elsewhere, you have paid for the testing and the written findings, which are yours to keep.
What if the job turns out to be bigger than quoted?
We stop and call you. Nothing extra gets done without your say-so, and if it turns out smaller than quoted the bill goes down.
Do you mark up parts?
There is a margin on parts, as at every shop - it covers sourcing, warranty handling and the return when a part arrives faulty. If you would rather supply your own parts, you can, and we charge labor only. We will not warranty a part we did not supply.
